Came across your name researching Kent and Stan Kenton. I was in the Third Armored Division Band (on trumpet) at Fort Knox with you dad. He got out shortly after I got in. Figure he left in 1954 sometime. Tenor saxman Don Menza was also in the band. I remember your dad as a wild and crazy jazz trombonist. Wish I had known him better. If you have some time, I'd love to hear about him since the Kenton years.
